Webcam search

I have been looking for a few days now a way to do wireless video. wondering how it will work. Well to start with, I looked at some of the cheaper devices out there like the linksys. only to learn they run with activeX so I find myself going from the $100 price range to the $500 range. After looking for aa while I have ended up with a few choices. 3 wireless and other not. One is a toshiba, another is Panasonic and the the other two are sony.

The end result is the sony cameras win out. The two others only do motion jpeg and jpeg. While the sony have mpeg4 aswell. One sony is a close to perfect match snc-m1w it is wireless small and mpeg/jpeg internal server, even 5v so easier to work with the pic.
The better choice for networking reason is better on the level of protocal, but is NOT wireless but is a better camera. So using that one will have the additional wet11 wireless bridge to attach. This means more battery more weight over all more... Another porblem the snc-m1w has is that it is not readily avablible in the US yet. There is one online company Webcampro who say January, so I hope soon! SpyShop says it has it in a few weeks of order, but I was unable to hearfrom the
engadget had an article about it and it was promoted at CES hope it wont be too hard to get.
The choice comes down to a SNC-P1 or the SNC-M1W.
