UCLA

During my undergraduate studies at UCLA I enjoyed a multifaceted education in design while the classes ranged in focus. My interests were in furniture and chair design, among others.

Various class work:

Work in chair design was something I continually think about:

Ergonomics was the buzz word, and this chair was s look into how to hold the human body by specific point and making the user feel light and comfortable:

During my final term at UCLA I worked on a chair design which could be created out of quick roles on sheet metal leaving little waste. Using the flex of the metal I was able to create a surprisingly comfortable chair. Found similarly in Ron Aarads work, whom I was later pointed to and insired by his work.
